Jonathan and Annalisa's story begins in September 2021. Starting in Perrysburg, Ohio eating at Basil Pizza and Wine Bar as their first date. Jonathan was already out of college and working as an electrical engineer. Annalisa was still in her Junior year of college. They shared a pizza while Annalisa also ordered pasta. For dessert, Jonathan saw how excited Annalisa was when they mentioned Nutella cake so instead of asking her if she wanted it, he went ahead and ordered it. When it finally came out it was more like mousse than a cake. They started to spend more and more time together and then finally on October 13, 2021, Jonathan brought Annalisa to a bridge in Monroe, Michigan (where Jonathan grew up) and started to dance with her. It was then and there that Jonathan asked Annalisa to be his girlfriend.

Annalisa was the first one to say, "I love you" in the Perrysburg movie theater just before Shang Chi started. Jonathan had spontaneously taken the day off to spend time with her.

Fast forward to May 2023: The Proposal. Jonathan and Annalisa went to Paris, France for Annalisa's birthday and as a graduation trip. One day we went to The Palace of Versailles. We walked through the house and then off to the beautiful gardens. We were walking through the Queen's Grove when Annalisa decided to take a break on a bench and drink some water. When She took the water bottle down Jonathan was down on one knee and asked her to marry him. However, that is not the original story that everyone was told. Jonathan did a second proposal in October 2023. He started to hide small boxes with notes in them as a scavenger hunt. Annalisa had one to find each day until she figured out the secret message. Once she figured it out Jonathan had then the ring on her pillow in a box that when opened was a rose and the ring was in the middle. After that, they finally started to tell their family and friends.

Now they are preparing for the wedding day and the marriage that follows day by day. They can not wait to share their special day with you!
